Assignment #4 - YouTube

As discussed in class, Video blogging is a great and easy way to get your thoughts out there and create great engaging content without the need for fancy equipment, just using your own personality.  For this assignment you are to create a video blog or vlog about any topic you like (or do the 13 Questions Tag.  Questions listed below).

If you wish to do another Video Type like what we discussed in class and have the capabilities to do so, you can.  If you have a YouTube channel or show you update regularly, I need a video specifically recorded for this assignment.  You cannot submit an older video.

  • The vlog must be 3-5 minutes.
  • The subject of the vlog is up to you, but no inappropriate content.  Keep it PG-13 as best as you can.
  • Record or upload the video to your own YouTube Channel.
  • Video quality is not super important, but make sure you have good audio (ie: your voice is clear, no distortion, limited background noise.  Make sure we can hear you)
  • You can edit your video if you have the expertise, if not a straight one cut is fine.  You won’t be penalized marks for not knowing how to edit a video
  • If you are concerned with Privacy, you may set the video to “Unlisted”.  This way the video is private to everyone.  Only those with a link to the video can view it.
  • Video must have a catchy title
  • Enter a two to three sentence paragraph in the description
  • Be creative!
